Yamaha DT400 Enduro 1975

Before we start, while this DT400 looks very pretty as had been previously “restored” it has some wrong parts on it. Chiefly the clocks, headlight, head light ears and mud guards. Having said that and if your not worried about bean counting, it all looks fine and a lot of people would not even notice, or care, as long as the price reflects this. It does however have new tyres, what appear to be new wheel rims and spokes, a nice drop of paint and best of all a “Vape” electronic ignition and a 12 volt conversion. It has retained its original exhaust and rare to find, both pieces of its rear chain guard, both side panels and tool kit. Mechanically and electrically everything works including the auto de-compressor, so kicks over easily. So there you have it a nice condition, running, riding and now rare Yamaha DT400 “Twin Shocker” at a sensible(ish) price.
