Honda CB750C very pretty. 1982

Now a rare sight on our roads, the Honda CB750c “custom” was only available for a couple of years here in the UK. This particular example came to us after being part exchanged with a friend of ours for his Harley, the owner rode it over to him from the other side of London so we figured mechanically it was a “good un”. We were not wrong as its engine is sweet, as are the clutch,, gearbox, brakes and electrics. Unfortunately the same could not be said for its paintwork!! The original two tone pale blue inlays over a dark blue had faded badly, the side panel graphics were physically cracked, so we gave it to our painter who transformed it with lovely grey metallic ghost inlays over a deep black metallic, both of which really “ping” when the sunlight hits them.( Unfortunately not sunny when these pics were taken so have included 2 taken indoors that show this effect a bit better ). No not mint but now a very nice, useable classic Japanese multi.
