Royal Enfield “Crusader” 250 1965

Not our usual fare but this very pretty Royal Enfield 250 Crusader has come into us as a p/x. Only recently purchased by the previous owner who unfortunately could not get on with the “British” right hand side gear change. The bike had been fully restored prior to him buying it and someone did a very good job as the bike is now very nice and it comes with a wad or receipts that show some of what has been spent. With a new battery and a bit of fettling it now runs and rides very well. The clutch, while working correctly, is heavy in use ( I had a quick “Google” and apparently this is not un-common). All the lighting,breaks etc work, tyres are still like new, cosmetically it is excellent. The odometer shows 393 miles so i am guessing this could be the mileage covered since its restoration? Good enough to adorn any man cave or to take to a show, cheap enough not to have to buy the wife a new kitchen! 😉
