This late registered CB750 FD Honda has at some point in its life had a CB900F motor fitted, all correctly listed on its V5. Originally purchased by us a a donor bike to allow us to take its rear grab rails off for a restoration project that we were working on, that had them missing. Once with us we realised that it was actually to good to just take to pieces so we had the rear rails reproduced and refitted. Replaced the original FVQ shocks that were seized. Stripped and cleaned its carbs and brake calipers that were all sticking plus a new battery, it now starts on the button. Thats where we have stopped as with the motor swap it will never be worth what a nice restored CB750 or 900 is so not worth us doing so, but if you dont care about that, it is a cheap CB900 engined bike that cleans up nicely, has a nice 4 into 1 pipe, good tyres and everything works (the missing 4 indicators are with the bike but not fitted, the two front mounts are there but one rear is missing, which you would need to get if you want to fit the originals back on) and with only a small amount of further fettling would make a good bike for someone.
