Yamaha RD250 UK with matching numbers 1975

Coming to us from a private collection of bikes where it had been for the last decade. During its years of inactivity it had been run regularly, wheels turned etc and things like the paint work were refreshed, plus an electronic ignition was fitted. On arrival with us it only needed a new battery, fresh petrol in the tank, which had been drained so is very clean, and with literally a couple of kicks, off it went. It is a UK bike from new and is matching numbers. While no it is not perfect is is in very good order through out. All the chrome is good apart from some minor pitting on top of the original rear mudguard which otherwise is incredibly solid with no rot, very rare to see nowadays. So if taking it to the next level, condition wise, is your thing would be an ideal candidate to re-chrome. The seat has been recovered and it looks to of had a new base at the same time. All in all its a great bike to just get on and enjoy, and at a price that lets you use it with out panicking about a cloud in the sky. Or alternately as a real good base to restore back to factory.
