Kawasaki ZXR750 H1 1989

Being offered for sale on behalf of the son that inherited this very nice example of a ZXR750 H1. His father had owned it for 30 or so years, the last decade spent sitting in his front room. obviously after all that time it needed some re-commissioning so alongside a new battery, the carbs were striped, sonic cleaned and rebuilt. The whole fuel system, pump, filter, relay, pipes was replaced. Fresh oil, oil and air filters fitted. Coolant was flushed through and refilled with fresh antifreeze and now it runs sweetly. Cosmetics while being very good for its age have some very minor faults, worse of which is a slight mis-match in the green on the right hand lower fairing panel, accompanied by a slight crease in the graphic. We do know what happened there in as much as his father at one point did sell it to a friend who promptly dropped it on its side, decided it was to tall for him and sold it back to his father who vowed would never sell it again, this is according to his surviving mother in law. He had the panel painted. Tyres on it, while being almost new looking are obviously old and if you intend using it in anger I would recommend changing them.
The bike comes with its original owners manual, the appropriate Kawasaki service manual and its last 2004 tax disc, but unfortunately no service history could be found to back up the 10K miles it shows on the clock so its make your own mind up on that, personally i feel it is correct as there are no worn/tired bits on it.
