Honda CB500 Four 1972

Since arriving in the UK in 2018, this 1972 CB500/4 Honda has only had the one registered owner. So it figures it was him, judging by the “before” picture, plus the wad of invoices for some of what has obviously been spent on it, that make it look like it does now. As such, on arrival with us, yes we had to fettle it a bit from where it had been standing recently, but cosmetically it needed little more than a good dust off and polish. Now starting on the button and riding very nicely. The new exhaust system it has fitted ( not cheap I know, and the disirable, correct “Tulip” style to boot!), looks great and sounds more or less standard. Gearbox and clutch are nice and smooth, brakes, electrics etc all work as designed, so its pretty well ready to go and just be enjoyed.
