Coming to us from a long term friend who owned the bike since it was 2 years old so only 2 owners from new. This CB400F had stood unused in his garage for over 30 years. When he originally purchased it he had modified it to look like a “Mocheck Harrier” a special that was available back then and we took the decision to keep it true to his original idea and build it pretty well as a homage not just to him, but to the HRC colours of the time. Once the carbs were rebuilt, oil and filters etc changed and with only 22000 miles on the clock, the motor sprang back into life at first attempt (you have to love these old Hondas!) sounding great. Cosmetically it had suffered from standing so wheels were replaced with a set of used but with much better chrome rims along with new tyres. Front brake caliper was replaced and a braided brake line fitted. Indicators were renewed ( old ones were painted black) and a new drive chain. Past that it was a major cosmetic refresh including new paint with one off graphics made in the HRC colours, making it the bike you see in the pictures. While no its not one for the purists, it is a great looking CB400/4 that is something a bit different.
