BMW R1150GS 2003

Back in 2003, if Heineken had made a motorcycle for touring the world on, they would of made this R1150 BMW and it still takes some beating today!
This particular example has only covered 40000 miles, so just about run in. In its history file it has all its old MOTs and receipts showing BMW servicing up to 28K miles. Round this time there is an ownership/area change to its last owner that had it since 2019, no more invoices but looking at things like its recent tyres etc its obvious that it has continued to be looked after. It does have both of its BMW touring panniers, i removed one to show the full stainless steel exhaust system that has been fitted, which is road legal so no louder than standard.
All its LCD dash works, as do its BMW fitted heated grips.Its motor fires up instantly, but with the equivalent of under 2k miles a year, so it should! Cosmetics are generally very good but yes there are the odd marks/snags here and there, but nothing for a 22 year old bike.
Currently MOTd until the end of July so once we have checked it over, its ready to go. Asking £2995 so at that price not only is it a whole lot of bike for not a lot of money, but from what i can see the cheapest, fully loaded, R1150Gs on the market today, so please no silly bids. Thanks. G
