Before i start, this 1984 Kawasaki GPZ750s paintwork has suffered cosmetically and unless your happy to leave it “as is” , it looks great from 10 feet away, then you will want to paint it.
Coming to us originally a good few years back, we sold it to a good friend. No sooner than he had taken it home, life got hold of him and it was left standing, all be it under a cover, on his patio. Fast forward to last year and he contacted us reference to getting it back up on its toes, no problem we said. Unfortunately when he removed the cover the paint had reacted and cracked, plus the original exhausts had blown their black chrome! So we got it back here, stripped and sonic cleaned the carbs, fitted a pair of new tyres, fully serviced the motor and fitted a new Delkevic 4 into 1 pipe, none of which have done a mile since and poor weather is stopping us from taking it out for a ride at the moment.
When the work was completed, he came to collect it and saw a full dress Harley D that had come into stock. He promptly decided he had to have that, if you saw the size of him you would understand why
. So a deal was done and it is now up for sale again. If it wasn’t for the poor paint work it would be classed as in very good condition and would be priced accordingly, rather than little more than some of the project bikes you see on offer of this model. So please no silly bids.
